Every first Tuesday of every month, Regular Tribal Council Meetings are held, where members of the tribe come together to discuss community issues, make collective decisions, resolve disputes, plan activities, and uphold tribal laws, traditions, and governance. They provide a formal space for leadership and community members to voice concerns, guide policy, and protect the tribe’s cultural values and sovereignty.
Te Nanuwu Nesumudoose Yaise Nadapootanai
The Fort McDermitt Tribe Presents, Te Nanuwu Nesumudoose Yaise Nadapootanai: Bringing our people together for a blessing, round dance.
The round dance is set for May 9, 2026. Starting at 2:00 p.m. Held at the McDermitt Combined School, Old Gym.
Join us in this special gathering to connect, celebrate, and share time together as a community.
There will be dinner served, informational booths, and of course, dancing!

Have Kope Zah with the Court
This event is open to anyone who may have questions or wants to learn about the Tribal Court process. The primary topics of this meeting will include behavioral health services, substance abuse support, probation programs and supervision processes, and the legal services provided by the court.
Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Winnemucca Food Bank
The Winnemucca Food Bank will be coming on Thursday, April 16, 2026. They will be distributing food at the Tribal Youth Center. Starting at 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Don't forget to bring your own bag!

Moonlight Egg Hunt
The Moonlight Egg Hunt will be at the Housing Office/ Wood Yard. This event is for 7th-12th Grade and adults (18+). Prizes will be awarded for 1st-3rd place and the Golden Egg. Refreshments will be provided for the event as well.
Easter Egg Hunt
the Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Tribal Administration Building. The search for eggs will begin at 10:00 a.m. There will be categories for all age groups. Prizes will be provided for the winners of each category. Refreshments will also be provided.
Egg Coloring
Join us to color and decorate eggs for the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt!
We will be coloring eggs from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcomed to join!

The Fort McDermitt Tribe is pleased to announce an upcoming Job Fair scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Tribal Youth Center and is open to community members and job seekers interested in employment opportunities with the Tribe and other participating employers.
